With over 28 years of industry experience, Mike Abraham has a unique blend of field and management experience that enables him to lead projects from the pre-planning stage to project completion. As company President, Mike Abraham drives the Banicki team to achieve excellence in client outcomes through the execution of Banicki’s vision and strategy. He is directly responsible for achieving company goals of productivity, profitability and operational
efficiency by providing practical direction and knowledge to Managers, encouraging the overall effort of the Banicki team and acting as an unparalleled management resource during the preconstruction and construction phases of all projects.
Don Davis, APDM Manager
Don brings over 34 years of industry-leading experience in preconstruction delivery, including key oversight of estimating, cost modeling and cost control reporting, schedule development, modeling and schedule deliveryefforts. Don is recognized for his ability to collaborate and integrate key design, management and construction staff into the preconstruction and design phases of projects. He utilizes his experience and focus on evaluation, data planning, metrics and comprehensive reporting to ensure a comprehensive project controls scope for each project. Don has been instrumental in working with owners and design teams in the discovery and identification of schedule critical work components and alternative means and methods costing, while providing vital Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC) analysis, man-hour costing analysis and subcontractor selection and analysis. His expertise in establishing estimate basis, assumptions and calculations support under the design-build framework ensures the development of a comprehensive, accurate and accepted GMP that incorporates value and quality. His construction delivery experience on complex, signature projects ensures transparent communication, review and documentation for project controls efforts.
Eric Rotner, Operations Manager
During his 13 years in the construction industry, Eric has worked in positions from Field Engineer to Construction Manager on JOC, Design/Build and CMAR projects. He is a graduate of Arizona State University. Eric is recognized for his effective communication, leadership and field management skills, attention to detail, logical decision-making ability, and experience at working in deadline-driven project environments. His skill and experience enables him to consistently achieve quality and schedule benchmarks and successful project completions. He is well versed in all construction disciplines and the sequencing of events on projects in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
“Adding Project Value - Engaging Sustainable Construction”
Heavy civil projects rarely incorporate green initiatives due to concerns over cost effectiveness, but “green” initiatives garner media attention and overwhelming public support. Greenroads® is a sustainability rating system for roadway design and construction. In brief, Greenroads® is a collection of sustainability best practices, called “credits,” that relate to design and construction. Achieving these credits can earnpoints toward a total score for a project, and in general, this Greenroads® score can be used as an indicator of sustainability for the completed roadway alignment. Costs related to the Greenroads® program may be offset by sustainability savings realized during the project.
