Led by Senior Safety Manager Chris Rodriguez, CHST, and Safety Manager Marc Momcilovich, CSP, CHST, Banicki’s Safe and Sound® Injury and Illness Prevention Program is a cornerstone of our work. This award-winning program, implemented across every level of our projects, brings rigorous accountability and industry-leading standards to our fields teams, subcontractors, and suppliers alike. Every project team is fully engaged in maintaining safety excellence, from the very first stages of preconstruction, where potential risks are identified and mitigated through engineering controls and construction best practices.
Our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) consistently sits well below industry standard and underscores Banicki’s steadfast commitment to safety, achieved through full-team buy-in and proactive safety strategies. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for compromising safety, reinforced by Banicki’s culture where every operation undergoes a comprehensive safety audit before work begins. Each operation has a customized Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) Plan, shared openly with our clients, underscoring our dedication to the safety of our field teams, the public, and all stakeholders at every construction phase. Additionally, Banicki’s teams conduct daily and weekly pre-shift safety briefings, ensuring that every field member understands the day’s tasks, associated risks, and mitigation plans.
