DESCRIPTION
The Teravalis Soil Cement & Riprap project delivered large-scale drainage infrastructure to support the phased buildout of the 37,000-acre Teravalis master-planned community in Buckeye, Arizona. Spanning more than 19 acres, the project included over 120,000 SY of engineered channel construction reinforced with 92,000 SY of 12” thick soil cement and 22,000 SY of riprap ranging from 9” to 24” in depth.
Major earthwork operations moved more than 60,000 CY of material to shape and stabilize channel alignments. Riprap was installed at key energy dissipation zones to prevent erosion and maintain long-term flow capacity. All channel work was coordinated alongside adjacent infrastructure to preserve access and sequencing across the development footprint. This project forms a key component of the community’s regional stormwater system, enabling future roadway and utility packages to proceed on schedule.
