DESCRIPTION

Banicki replaced the existing low-water crossing at Panther Drive with a new super-box type bridge designed to safely convey Queen Creek storm flows and provide reliable year-round access for the Town of Superior. The project included construction of new bridge foundations, abutments, piers, and reinforced concrete deck, along with approach slabs, bridge barrier, and roadway tie-ins.

Supporting work involved substantial earthwork, structural excavation and backfill, asphalt paving, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and installation of gabion mattresses for scour protection. Banicki coordinated closely with SRP to perform construction within the utility right-of-way and implemented stormwater control and dewatering systems to maintain safe working conditions.
