Safety is Banicki’s most important Core Value and our top priority in the planning and execution of all work we perform. Banicki’s Safety Managers Chris Rodriguez, CHST and Marc Momcilovich, CHST, will implement our corporate-wide and award-wining Safe and Sound® Injury and Illness Prevention Program on all Projects we perform. This is a comprehensive program that helps establish safety accountability through all levels of the Project while greatly increasing the amount of job and task specific training, even for subcontractors.

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for compromising safety and manage our Projects to enforce and support that attitude. Pre-planning is the most vital element in our construction safety program. Each major operation will first undergo a detailed safety audit in which Banicki’s Project Team identifies all risks and implements engineering controls and construction best practices to eliminate those risks. No operation will move forward until all risks are accounted for and addressed in a detailed Job Hazard Analysis Plan that will be shared with the Owner for their review. Banicki holds both daily and weekly pre-shift safety meetings to prepare the field teams for the scheduled tasks and detail all associated risks and mitigation efforts.

Banicki’s outstanding Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.70 and 2021 Recordable Incident Rate (RIR) of 0.00 are directly attributed to our strict emphasis on safety performance.
