This project encompassed the complete reconstruction of Taxiway Alpha and associated connectors at DVT. Taxiway Alpha was also relocated outside of the RSA on this project. Project scope included 40,498 SY of P-155 lime treated subgrade; 36,766 SY of P-209 ABC; 89,653 SY of P-218 crushed aggregate; 135,197 SY infield millings; 7,423 TN of new P-401 AC pavement; 77,584 SY existing AC pavement removal; 38,531 CY excavation; RGRCP storm drain; catch basins; manholes; electrical removals; electrical modifications; new electrical hand holes to route the runway homerun circuit; electrical conduit; electrical conductors; taxiway edge lighting; runway guard lights; and infield work. All work was performed at night to eliminate disruptions to DVT Operations.
