Completed in only 35 working days, this accelerated project for Maricopa County included ½ mile of full depth roadway reconstruction and ½ mile of 2” mill and overlay. Three major intersections were also milled out and repaved in single night full closure operations.
Project scope included 4,065 tons Superpave asphalt; 4,600 LF asphalt thickened edge; 25,000 SY asphalt milling; 7,300 CY subgrade prep; 2,200 tons aggregate base; striping; raised pavement markers; and 21 utility adjustments.
