DESCRIPTION

This project delivered infield paving and utility improvements at Phoenix Goodyear Airport, supporting long-term operational readiness and future hangar development. Banicki performed mass grading, fine grading, and subgrade preparation across three infield zones, followed by placement of over 11,500 tons of AC pavement. Additional scopes included installation of new storm drain pipe, catch basins, and upgraded electrical vault infrastructure.

All work occurred within an active airfield operational movement area and required continuous coordination with airport operations to maintain safety and access near existing runways and taxiways. The team also addressed unsuitable subgrade conditions and long-lead electrical materials without disrupting critical sequencing.
