This project involved construction of a shared-use pathway from the eastern ADOT right of way limit of the SR101L / SR202L interchange to the northeast corner of the eastbound on-ramp of the SR202L / Dobson Road interchange. Banicki proposed and implemented three innovations on this project that improved the quality of the end product by eliminating the potential for asphalt and concrete cracking, relocation of the electrical boxes to prevent theft of wire and modified drainage improvements to enhance the design. This project was critical in joining together two previously constructed segments of the Rio Salado Pathway.
